Background: Rabbit Hill Snow Resort launched two new multi-week lesson programs for the 2024/2025 winter season: Alpine Academy and Snow Squad. Together, these programs were created to offer structured progression for youth skiers and snowboarders, with distinct goals and target audiences.
Objective: Develop unique names and logos for each lesson program that reflect their tone, target age group, and purpose.
Alpine Academyrequires a sophisticated, timeless logo to reflect its technical focus and future expansion to broader age groups.
Snow Squad needed a playful and energetic logo that would resonate with 10–14-year-olds and convey a fun, community-focused vibe.

Results: Two distinct logos that align with Rabbit Hill branding while clearly reflecting each program’s unique tone and target audience. Both logos use Rabbit Hill’s trademark navy blue as a grounding colour, ensuring cohesion with existing branding.
Alpine Academy features a clean, sophisticated logomark composed of two abstracted A’s, symbolizing both the name and the progression-focused nature of the program. The dual triangle shapes also echo the silhouette of a ski hill, thus reinforcing the alpine theme. Furthermore, the typography and geometric design convey precision and structure, aligning with the academy’s emphasis on skill development and performance. I designed the logo with future growth in mind, anticipating Alpine Academy’s expansion to include both children and adult participants in upcoming seasons. As a result, its modern yet timeless aesthetic ensures that it will remain relevant and appealing across a broader age range.
Snow Squad embraces a fun, youthful, and energetic aesthetic. The bold, playful typography immediately captures the attention of the 10–14 age group, reinforcing the program’s adventurous and social spirit. I chose a bright sky blue for “Snow” and a vivid yellow-green for “Squad,” creating a vibrant contrast. Additionally, the logo incorporates half of a snowflake, nodding to Rabbit Hill’s primary logo and tying into the program name. I layered snow piles and specks over the lettering to create the impression of snow building up on the text, adding texture, movement, and personality.
Both logos were designed to stand alone or work in tandem with Rabbit Hill Snow Resort’s overall branding, and are being used in digital and print media for the 2024/2025 season.
