Objective: Jay requested a rebrand that would carry him throughout his career, regardless of whether he stayed with his current brokerage or started his own.

Results: A sleek, cutting edge, professional design. The logo had to be recognizable by clients and appealing to real estate professionals. Thus, we went with the initial ‘J’ so that as business grows the logo can represent other team members. The simple and stripped-down logo enforces Jay’s transparent values. His clients tend to be young professionals, newlyweds and investors. They describe him as genuine, professional, passionate and fun. This lead to using Gotham, a no-nonsense sans-serif typeface that is honest and friendly.

Use of the colour black gives off a fierce elegance, while the golden ochre is energetic and adds a friendly, fun flair.  In combination, these colours represent exactly what you want in any business transaction – someone that can aggressively land you the best deal while still being charmingly friendly. The herringbone pattern used occasionally through-out the branding is a simple architectural element that ties in nicely with real estate while not being as obvious as a house or key graphic.
