The Objective: Convey Jas’s traits of trustworthiness, detail orientation, dedication, and caring professionalism through branding. With over 30 years of experience, Jas has a wealth of knowledge that he passes on to both clients and real estate professionals. Therefore his brand had to appeal to both groups and represent him as a mentor and real estate professional. His clients are long term – different generations of the same family return to Jas. His trainees are new to the real estate industry.
Results: The predominately black and red colour scheme is bold and grabs the viewers’ attention. In effect, this stimulating combination encourages action – hello phone calls! Black and red are both strong and powerful; together, they elicit a confidence that declares “I am a leader”. Equally important are the splashes of grey, which tone down this bold scheme just enough to convey maturity, reliability, and practicality.
Furthermore, to evoke traditional values and trustworthiness, the Allegro typeface was chosen for the “JS” as it is a stencil-style font reminiscent of handwriting. To contrast this, the remaining text is Futura, because it is a timeless, modern and forward thinking. Consequently, pairing them together creates a balance of traditional values with forward-thinking leadership.
The skyline graphic represents community involvement. As can be seen in the following images, it can be used on its own or in combination with the wordmark and lettermark. Therefore giving the elements versatility that allows for the elements to easily be applied to different mediums.
